Approaches to Landscape: outdoor sketching and printmaking
July 30th - Aug 1st
There's still time to book for this exceptional opportunity to work with celebrated painter and educator Mary Loney OBE and the distinguished printmaker Angie Rogers.
You will spend an evening meeting the artists, and preparing for your weekend. Saturday will involve sketching outdoors in the visually stunning town of Hebden Bridge and its surroundings. On the Sunday, you will interpret your sketches through simple printmaking approaches. This course is open to all abilities. Materials and light lunches are included in the cost. We can help to find suitable accommodation if required. Cost £150.

Andrew is an up and coming prospect who currently has two paintings in Charles Saatchi's gallery in London. This will be a good chance to purchase affordable work of an artist early in his career before his prices rise.

'Turned Out Nice Again' - an exhibition at Westgate Studios by Nicholas Jeremy Clarke
30th June - 10th July
Nicholas Jeremy Clarke is an artist of international obscurity, who prefers a cackhand approach to Arrrt. The concept for 'Turned out nice again' is based on a dystopian view of British culture as seen through piss tinted glasses, delivered through a naughty post-card, pound shop aesthetic.
Although satirical in nature, it's rooted in playful humour and toys with the notion of high and low culture.

'Turned Out Nice Again' opens on 30th June at 5:30pm - 8:00pm. General opening hours are Monday - Friday, 10am - 5:30pm.
