Rob Speranza comes back to Bradford to join us for an inspirational talk about Networking Do's and Don'ts, helping you master the intimidating task of walking into a room and intelligently starting to talk to people. Daunted by such thing? Rob will show you how not to be and how to begin to 'own the room'.

Rob is a successful producer in Sheffield who runs the South Yorkshire Filmmakers Network (www.syfn.org), who have been helping filmmakers develop in Yorkshire since 2005. Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Rob earned his MA and PhD in Film and Poetry at the University of Sheffield, and has numerous international awards for his short films and documentaries. He is now developing 3 feature films and completed Line Production on his first feature project in the summer of 2009.

Join us for this event, sure to be a fascinating and honest look into how to network in the media industry, and get to where you want to be.

This event is part of the 'Creative Toolkit' programme, which Fabric has developed in partnership with the University of Bradford and Bradford College.
