  • Artworks Creative Communities Opens a new window
    Artworks is a small, very effective voluntary sector organisation serving the whole of the Bradford District with a staff team of 8. It is both a registered charity and company limited by guarantee. Artworks develops and delivers participatory arts projects in many different contexts working with professional artists using all art forms from dance, drama and interior design to rap, illustration, film-making and digital art. Its role is three fold: co-ordination, delivery and advocacy.

Set up in 1994 by a group of artists, it is an inclusive organisation that believes in enabling all artists to have access to work, training and exhibition opportunities in accessible settings.
  • Theatre in the Mill Opens a new window
    Theatre in the Mill has an enviable reputation as a vibrant, professional venue. First opened by Alan Ayckbourn in 1976, it is the hub of the University’s theatre activities and offers a black box flexible studio space with seating for approximately 100 people. It is one of the foremost fringe theatre venues in the country and hosts the best in contemporary touring theatre.
