This document sets out the Rules governing Membership of Creative Bradford ("cb").

Introduction

Every Member of cb is bound by all of these Rules while it remains a Member of cb. Every person applying to become a Member of cb is bound by the provisions of Rule 1. Registered Users are bound by Rules 1.4, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 subject to the terms of any further agreement between cb and that Registered User.

1. Acceptance as a Member

1.1 Applications to become a Member of cb must be submitted using the online application form, and according to the procedure, approved by the administrator from time to time. All applicants must ensure that the information submitted in any application form and any additional information provided is fair, complete and accurate.

1.2 Acceptance as a Member of cb and the appropriate Membership Status are both at the sole discretion of the administrator.

1.3 For the avoidance of doubt the administrator shall at all times at its sole discretion be entitled to reject an application for Membership or Registered User status by any person irrespective of whether that person fulfils the relevant criteria or to accept any application for Membership, Registered User status where the applicant does not fulfil all of the relevant criteria. The appropriate Membership Status applicable to any undertaking or person is at the discretion of the administrator and may be amended by the administrator at any time.

1.4 Registered User criteria
Registered Users are organisations or individuals with an interest in the arts who do not wish to be full members and shall only be entitled to the limited benefits set out for Registered Users in the Schedule to these rules (as may be amended by the board from time to time).

1.5 Member criteria: Members should have an interest in promoting and supporting the arts in the Bradford area.

2. Conduct

2.1 Every Member and Registered Usersof cb must ensure that it updates cb of any relevant issue changes (including contact details or any matter considered to be relevant criteria for membership).

2.2 Members and Registered Users of cb must not act in such a way as to bring cb or the New Media Industry into disrepute.

2.3 Members may be required to enter into a non-disclosure agreement between cb and the other Members to protect each members confidentiality in any ideas or projects which are discussed at cb.

3. Expulsion

3.1 The administrator may expel any Member, or (where appropriate) terminate Registered User status, where that Member or Registered User obreaches any of these Rules.

4. Press comments, data protection and related matters

4.1 No Member or Registered User shall (itself or through any special interest group or committee or in any other manner) make any public comment on behalf of (or purportedly on behalf of) cb or bind or seek to bind cb without the prior written approval of the administrator. The current administrators may make public comment on behalf of cb.

4.2 No Member or Registered User shall use any trade mark or intellectual property right of cb (including the name Creative Bradford and any logo(s) of cb ) without the prior written approval of the administrator.

4.3 cb will use the information provided by Members and Registered Users (including the information provided on application forms, as updated from time to time) ("Member Information") for the following purposes: administration of membership records; advertising, marketing and public relations for cb and for third parties (selected at the discretion of the administrator); accounts and records; consultancy and advisory services; education; fundraising; and trading / sharing personal information. cb may disclose Member Information to its agents or service providers for these purposes. cb may share Member Information with selected third parties. cb or such third parties may contact Members or Registered Users by mail, telephone, email or fax (using the contact details provided on your application form, as updated from time to time) with offers of goods or services or other information relating to the activities of cb or such third parties. If you do not wish your information to be used in this way or wish to amend or correct details please use the procedure and contact details specified in the Privacy Policy on the cb website.
